Why do we stick to traditional barefoot shoe production? Our barefoot shoes are still made by hand, without the use of a cup sole. This original production method is demanding, but it offers advantages that modern production processes simply cannot match.
Advantages of the traditional barefoot manufacturing method.
-
Perfect flexibility and lightness
The traditional sole ensures natural flexibility of the shoe, which respects the movement of the foot. Compared to a cup sole, where the construction prevents free bending, our shoes offer maximum freedom of movement. In addition, they are lighter thanks to the lower amount of material used - which is a huge advantage, especially for larger sizes.
-
Precise craftsmanship
Manufacturing shoes without a cup sole requires absolutely flawless stretching of the shoe on the last. Imperfections that would otherwise be hidden in the construction have no place here. Each pair is the result of precise handwork, ensuring perfect shape and comfort.
-
Wide range of sizes and the possibility of an individual approach
Thanks to our traditional manufacturing methods, we are not limited by standardized cup sole dimensions. This allows us to offer shoes up to size 49+ and thus adapt to the needs of all customers, regardless of their foot size.
-
Above-standard quality and corresponding value
Traditional barefoot shoes have always been associated with higher prices, as handmade production and an individual approach require more time and care. Our prices reflect the true value, which lies in honest craftsmanship, high-quality materials, and maximum attention to detail.
All key production steps are carried out manually with the utmost care and precision.
Handcrafting barefoot shoes isn't about wanting to add more work for ourselves. It's about respecting the original craft and the values that barefoot shoes represent. When you put on our shoes, you'll feel the difference in comfort, lightness, and quality of workmanship.
The shoe manufacturing process
-
Selection and preparation of materials
We use top-quality Italian leather that meets the highest standards of quality. Since leather for shoes is no longer produced in the Czech Republic, we work with trusted Italian suppliers who provide us with natural hides. These materials are characterized by their strength, flexibility, and durability, which guarantees the comfort and longevity of our shoes.
-
Cutting and sewing the upper
We use a plotter specially designed for cutting leather to cut the uppers. This machine is highly accurate and ensures that all parts fit with millimeter precision. Manual cutting in this part of production does not contribute to the quality of the product, while the plotter allows for fast and precise processing of every size and part. The individual parts are then sewn together by our experienced seamstresses, and the upper is ready!
-
Manual stretching on a last
This key process is what sets us apart from others. The leather is stretched by hand onto a wooden last to precisely copy the shape of the foot and ensure a perfect fit. This step requires a high degree of precision and experience, because with barefoot shoes, any unevenness will affect the resulting comfort and aesthetics. This method of stretching the leather does not cause it to overstretch, as is often the case with machine production. The leather retains its strength and quality.
-
Sole bonding
The sole is attached to the shoe without using a cup construction, which ensures its exceptional flexibility and lightness. We use a special three-component adhesive that guarantees a strong and durable bond. Each step is done by hand, with the precision of experienced shoemakers who ensure the sole is perfectly positioned. This method of production minimizes the use of excess materials, preserves the natural flexibility of the shoe, and ensures a long service life.
Custom manufacturing
Custom manufacturing is about respecting the individuality of each customer. Every pair of shoes from our workshop is tailored to your needs, from sizes that may exceed standard dimensions to specific design requirements. This approach ensures that the shoes fit perfectly, promote healthy walking, and suit your style.

Premium Italian leather
The quality of our products starts with the materials. The leather we work with comes from an Italian family business that is one of the world's leading suppliers in the industry. Thanks to their long tradition and emphasis on first-class workmanship, we can guarantee that our shoes and accessories meet the highest quality standards.
